I hear the same sentence in consults more than any other. Someone from The Meadows, Founders, or Castle Pines sits down, points at their teeth, and says they want them straighter without looking like they are in treatment. That is a fair ask. I plan those cases myself, on a scan, before anyone leaves with a tray.

What Angel Aligners Are

Angel Aligners are a series of clear, custom trays. You wear a set, then move to the next, and the teeth shift in small steps. I design the sequence from a digital scan, not a one-size tray pack. If a movement does not belong in trays, I say so at the first visit. I would rather tell you braces are the better tool than sell you a stack of plastic that cannot do the job.

People type “clear aligners Castle Rock” because they want a local orthodontist, not a mailer. I am that person. I grew up in Loveland, trained at Midwestern University in Arizona, and finished ortho residency at the University of Colorado. Halee grew up in Parker. We came back on purpose. The office is at 3750 Dacoro Lane, Suite 145, in The Meadows.

How I Decide If Trays Fit

At the complimentary consult I look at crowding, bite, jaw, and what you actually want out of this. Some adult cases are excellent in Angel Aligners. Some teen cases are too. Some are not. If the roots, the bite, or the habits will fight the trays, I will show you that on the scan. Straight answers are the point of the slogan on the door.

On the scan I am looking at three practical things. Can the teeth move in trays without leaving the bite worse. Is there enough bone and gum to support the movement. Will you actually wear them. The third one is not a personality test. It is whether your week has a place for 20-plus hours in plastic. If the honest answer is no, trays will stall and we should pick another tool.

If trays are not the right tool, I still have a path. I use the KL Owen custom bracket system for braces. I am the only orthodontist in Castle Rock offering that fully customized setup. You can read the rest of our orthodontic services on the site. The consult is the same either way: I design it, I explain it, and we do not rush the decision.

Kids are a separate conversation. I still agree with the American Association of Orthodontists that an exam around age 7 or 8 is useful. That visit is not a sales pitch for trays. It is a look at jaw growth before a small problem becomes a surgical one. Angel Aligners can come later. The first visit can just be information.

What Treatment Feels Like Day To Day

You wear the trays most of the day. You take them out to eat and to brush. That is the part adults in Castle Rock care about when lunch is a real lunch, not a smoothie around brackets. Wear time is not optional theater. If you leave them in a cup, the next tray will not fit, and we will be honest about why.

After the last tray, we are not done. Teeth try to drift. I will give you retainers and a wear plan. If someone skips that part, the nice alignment we just paid for in time starts sliding. I would rather say that now than hear it six months later.

Check-ins are planned around the sequence, not around packing the book. I would rather see you when the next movement matters than put you on a factory calendar.

Castle Rock Life And The Schedule

We live here. Parks, Cherry Creek Trail, school pickup, the usual Douglas County scramble. I have two little girls. I know what “I can do Tuesday at 3:30 or I cannot do this” means. Tell us the constraint. We will put the appointments where they fit.

Teens often want trays because photos and sports are real. Adults often want trays because work is real. Both can be good reasons. Neither is a reason to skip the bite exam.

Questions Parents Ask Us

Are Angel Aligners the same as the national tray ads?

No. Those ads sell a brand. I sell a plan I designed for your teeth. The plastic is a tool. The plan is the treatment. If a movement needs braces, I will say that in the room, not after you have paid for a year of trays.

How many hours a day do they have to stay in?

Most of the day. Out for meals and brushing. If a teen only wears them at night, we will see it in the fit, and we will talk about switching tools rather than pretending night-only wear is enough.

Can adults start now?

Yes. Age is not the limiter. Bone, gums, and the bite are. My grandmother started treatment at 80. If you have been waiting because you thought you missed the window, come in and let me look.

Do you take insurance?

We accept insurance. Bring the card to the consult. We will tell you what it actually covers before you commit.

What if trays are not a fit?

Then we talk braces, including KL Owen custom brackets, or we wait. I will not put you in Angel Aligners to close a sale. If you want the longer list of questions we already answered on the site, start with our FAQs.

If You Are Comparing Offices In The Meadows

You will see Spark ads, national tray ads, and general dentists offering trays. Compare the person who designs the movements, not the logo on the box. I am owner-led. You will not be passed to a rotating associate. If you want to know who I am before you book, read more about me, then request the complimentary consult.

I will give it to you straight. If Angel Aligners will work, we start. If they will not, you will hear that in the first visit, with the scan on the screen.
